Title: R&D Integrator (Job#4001)

Reports to: VP Systems Engineering

Magnus-Metal Ltd. is an early-stage start-up company, developing a new "Digital Casting" process for the manufacturing of large metal parts. The process outputs cast metal parts based upon the customer's CAD file.

Our development machine has proven the technology and process, and we are currently recruiting excellent professionals to join our multi-disciplinary R&D team on the path to industrializing the solution.

Job Summary: R&D System Integrators participate in multiple development and research projects of Digital Casting systems, modules and test set-ups mainly focused on assembly, testing and integration of systems and modules.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assisting engineers with product and process design, development, testing and optimization

• Building and Integrating Prototypes and test them

• Design and build fixtures and tooling for product and modules testing

• Assisting in preparation of technical documentation

• Integrating, problem solving and debugging R&D prototypes

• Performing equipment installation and qualification

• Leading systems and modules assembly and integration

• Performing production systems upgrades and equipment maintenance as needed

• Troubleshooting production equipment issues with Engineering and Operations teams

Requirements:

• Mechanical/Electrical/Control Technician/Practical Engineer Diploma required

• At least 5 years’ experience as R&D technician in multidisciplinary systems environment

• Knowledge of main components and types of equipment used in multidisciplinary systems

• Experience using sketches, CAD, etc. to support the design and systems integration

• Proficiency with MS Office

• Ability to analyse and solve problems

• Ability to communicate effectively with all cross-functional team members

• Excellent human relationships

• Good English
