Data Scientist

A motivated startup company that develops a product capable of pinpointing locations with centimeter-level precision, even in areas where GPS reception is unavailable. The solution utilizes wireless coverage based on WIFI technology. The system is powered by a new mobile wireless location sensor, incorporating a patented detection technology.

The role involves integration into a team of four employees, working on Machine Learning and Python, primarily using Pandas and NumPy.

Responsibilities include research and development of algorithms in the fields of Navigation, Robotics, Big Data, IoT, and Signal Processing.

Situated in Tel Aviv, near a train line, the company has 29 employees and is experiencing growth.

Requirements-

• Academic degree in a quantitative field (Applied Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, etc.). Advanced degrees are a big advantage.

• 3 years of work experience in algorithms research and development, applying models and data analysis, preferably in startup environment. Excellent graduates with advanced degree and with extensive applied research experience can be considered as well.

• Experience in applied scientific research is highly preferable.

• Previous experience in full development cycle for algorithms implementation (from research and analysis of experimental data through intensive debugging and testing to official SW product release) is big advantage.

• Extensive knowledge in statistical data analysis methods and/or statistical signal processing, estimation theory, data and sensors fusion.
