Overview

As a Practical Engineer at the Production team, you will play a pivotal role in assembling and testing our system. Your responsibilities will include parts and assembly inspections, writing assembly and test instructions and play a key role in the R&D to manufacturing processes. 

Responsibilities

Assembly and Integration:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Assemble components and sub-assemblies accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment for assembly tasks.

Quality Control:

• Write inspection instructions for parts and assemblies
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Identify and address defects or issues during the assembly process.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of assembly.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and other assemblers.
• Communicate effectively to address any issues or challenges that arise during assembly.

Documentation:

• Record assembly and testing data accurately.
• Document any deviations from the standard procedures.

Requirements

• Mechanical practical engineer - up to 2 years from graduation.
• Experience of working with SolidWorks software.
• Hands on experience with mechanical assembly, wiring and soldering - advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to details.
• Team player with a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and and speak English at a near fluent level.
