Senior Network Engineer

**The Opportunity** 🌍🔧

Responsible for overseeing global network infrastructure as part of a network engineering team. Involves planning and implementing network solutions 🌐, ensuring system availability 🔁, optimizing network performance 📈, and aligning network strategies with business goals 💼 while embracing new industry technologies to enhance network architecture.

**How You Will Spend Your Day** 📅

- Managing organizational projects requiring collaboration of multiple specialized teams 🤝.

- Researching, implementing, and maintaining LAN/WAN and Cloud technologies to enhance operational efficiency and security 🔒.

- Designing and maintaining highly available, fault-tolerant network infrastructure with minimal supervision, including diverse technologies like SSL VPN, IPSec VPN, DNS, DHCP, VoIP, SIP, H.323, firewalls, network load balancing, and wireless networks 🛠️.

- Interfacing with clients, vendors, and teams on projects involving voice and data requirements 🗣️💻.

- Managing global network projects, leading large projects, and delegating tasks to support teams 👥.

- Independently developing network documentation and training materials 📚.

- Serving as a professional and technical expert, identifying improvement areas, and developing change plans 🌟.

**Qualifications** 🎓

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent.

- 10 years of technical IT delivery and telecommunications experience in global companies 🌐.

- Relevant licensure and certifications (Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, Checkpoint CCSE, etc.) preferred ✅.

- Experience in delivering large platforms on public clouds (Azure/AWS/GCP) and established relationships with cloud vendors ☁️.

- Experience in managed enterprise organizations with strong IT compliance and risk management, preferably in pharma 💊.

- Excellent relationship-building, communication skills, and experience in team-based projects 🤝.
