DevOps Team Lead

Perimeter 81 is looking for a DevOps Team Lead. This role is perfect for a highly experienced and proactive DevOps Engineer with outstanding coding skills, who is passionate about building flawless products.

This job is located in Tel Aviv (hybrid).

Major Responsibilities

As a DevOps Team lead, you'll be the technical authority of your 5 members team while maintaining a hands-on approach in a certain amount to ensure that day-to-day runs smoothly following the plans and priorities set by the group management.

Your role includes ensuring that everyone on the team aligns with our cutting-edge DevOps Group's standards and methodologies.

In addition to your responsibilities, you will also be accountable for ensuring that all projects are delivered thoroughly, updated, and well-documented in our systems.

Desired Background

• 5+ years in DevOps, including 2+ years in team leadership.
• Proven expertise in managing infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation.
• Proficient in crafting solutions for high-scale SaaS environments and microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience in Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi), and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and agile development practices.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions – Advantage.
• Exposure to message queues (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, DataDog).
• Familiarity with HashiCorp tools (Consul, Vault, Nomad – Advantage).
• Proficient in at least two scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Go, Groovy).
• Knowledge of Configuration Management tools like Ansible – Advantage.
• Understanding of network topologies, common protocols, and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, CDN, Proxy).
