Senior Backend Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Senior Backend Engineer located in Tel Aviv District, Israel. The Senior Backend Engineer will play a central role in our team and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic for the company's products to design and deploy new features and technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Backend development -  a must
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field - a must
• Vast experience in Django and Python - a must
• Background in data engineering (Spark, PySpark, Databricks, data modeling and ETL skills) - a big plus
• Experience in cloud environments such as AWS - a big plus
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git and Mercurial
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication skills in English
