Biology Research Assistant- Student Position

At Sight Diagnostics, we aim to improve health through fast and accurate diagnostic testing. We have successfully built Sight OLO, our machine-vision based direct-from-finger CBC analyzer for near-patient testing. After deploying hundreds of devices across all continents and accumulating digital blood samples from tens of thousands of patients, we are now leveraging our assets and combining them with new top-notch software applications to execute our vision of a complete Digitized Blood Diagnostics ecosystem.

As a Biology Research Assistant you will:

As a Biology Research Assistant in SightDx you will be part of a R&D team working on an innovative development project in the cytology and machine vision fields. You will be responsible for cell-identification and tagging cytological samples.

Requirements:

Your Skills, Experience, And Potential

• Medicine/ veterinary medicine student with at least 2 years left to graduation
• Available for at least 20 work hours a week at our offices in TLV
• Independent, self-driven, strong self-learner, with the ability to self-manage tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong computer skills
• Cytology/Histology interpretation experience - a significant advantage
• Fluency in English
