Junior Build Automation

INFINIDAT’s R&D department is looking for an eager and bright individual to join us and own our Build Automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, improve and maintain the company’s R&D delivery flow processes and infrastructure.
• Ownership of one of the most critical flows in the R&D department - releasing Infinidat’s software product.
• Establish and evolve concepts in CI/CD pipelines for existing and new services.
• Work closely with development teams to improve the efficiency and stability of the build automation solution
• Work closely with various infrastructure teams in the company to improve automation of workflows
• Monitor and analyze performance and stability issues.

Environment and tools

• Linux, Python, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, CMake (gcc), Coverity, VMware, Ansible, Docker
• 99% on-prem

Requirements & Experience

• 2+ years of experience writing Python scripts - a must.
• Experience building and sustaining a fully automated CI/CD solution
• Experience with CI systems with Gitlab and Jenkins
• Proficiency with git workflows
• Experience in Linux system engineering (configuring, troubleshooting and deployment).
• Experience with cpp build systems including an ability to review code in c/cpp as part of build system optimization work - Advantage.
• Excellent organizational, analytical abilities and problem solving skills

• High initiative and a proactive approach - ability to independently define and drive solutions in the devops fields
