Profile Business Analyst

As a part of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of our company, contributing to our ongoing success and innovation. We are currently seeking a Budget Analyst II who is focused on developing and monitoring annual revenue/expense budgets for the purpose of controlling funds and measuring annual operating results. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial planning and a desire to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do For Us

• Developing budgets for various organizational units based on prior period budgets, revenue estimates, expense projections, and recent performance.
• Analyzing variance from budget, identifying issues/trends, and forecasting annual results.
• Recommending and implementing budgetary policies and procedures.
• Checking and correcting problems not immediately evident in existing systems and processes, making adjustments or recommended enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the job area.
• Explaining policies, practices, and procedures of the job area to others within the organization.
• Communicating with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve explaining or interpreting information to reach agreement.
• Working to justify and gain cooperation of other parties on practices, policies, and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications& Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• 4+ years of prior relevant experience in budget analysis or financial planning.
• In-depth knowledge in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Basic knowledge of related disciplines such as accounting and auditing.
• Proficiency in financial software systems and tools, including Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
