Compliance Specialist

Okoora is a leading innovative Fintech company specializing in the payments industry since 2006.

We primarily operate in the Israeli market and are now expanding into the European market as well.

We are seeking an experienced compliance specialist to join our compliance team. The role involves onboarding new clients in accordance with Israeli regulations and coordinating with our business partners in Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the potential clients Due Diligence process.
• Evaluate companies’ documentations and follow guidelines and checklist as per policy.
• KYC and AML checks on potential clients during onboarding process.
• Leading multiple onboarding processes with potentials clients in parallel
• Identifying and monitoring irregular activity for reporting purposes, implementing monitoring processes and preparing irregular activity reports.
• Implementing controls to ensure that the company’s processes are fully compliant with the Israeli regulation and with our EU business partners requirements.
• Responding and guiding fellow employees with identifying and preventing money laundering and the financing of terror activities

Requirements:

• 2+ years prior experience in compliance roles in fintech/bank/capital market – A must
• Superior attention to small details in order to identify and correct risky practices
• Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices
• Strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both speaking and in writing – A must
• Possess a collaborative personality and be open to suggestions from interfaces
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies
• background from gaming company , Fintech , banks and payments companies.
• English at mother tongue level is mandatory.
