Embedded Software Engineer

A multidisciplinary company specializing in developing security systems for the Internet of Things (IoT), including cameras, sensors, security devices, and more. The company provides end-to-end solutions, encompassing both software and hardware components. The product itself is manufactured locally in Israel, and the company serves clients worldwide.

The role involves being part of the embedded infrastructure team within the communication team, reporting to the Head of Research and Development.

Responsibilities include RT Embedded development in C on small operating systems like FreeRTOS.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field from a leading institute.

• 5 years of experience in RT Embedded programming.

• Living the real-time embedded world.

• Master in C\C++ programming in real-time embedded environment.

• Firmware coding, RTOS, Interrupt handling and Embedded Systems Resources Management.

• Firmware implementation best practices – coding, debugging, testing, source control, and version management.

• Expert in low-level programming, drivers, and the core of low-power MCUs.

• Strong experience in Software development for a communication protocol is a plus (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, Zigbee, Thread etc.).
