Application Engineer

Network Application Security, a Keysight Technologies business group provides the industry’s most comprehensive converged IP network validation and network visibility solutions. Equipment manufacturers, service providers, enterprises, and government agencies use Keysight’s NAS solutions to design, verify, and monitor a broad range of wired, Wi-Fi, and 5G/LTE equipment and networks. Keysight test solutions emulate realistic media-rich traffic and network conditions so that customers can optimize and validate the design, performance, and security of their pre-deployment networks. Keysight’s intelligent network visibility platforms provide clarity into physical and virtual production networks for improved performance, security, resiliency, and application delivery of cloud, data center, and service provider networks.

The Solution Engineer will be responsible for building relationships with Network Equipment Manufacture and large enterprise customers and strategic technology partners to recommend the most appropriate solution and provide support. The successful candidate will be a skilled technical expertise able to assist the team to identify and qualify business leads as well as customers for Proof of Concepts (PoC), product demonstrations, technical presentations and systems architecture configuration, RFPs and RFQs and provide support during deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical support for Keysight’s Network Test Solution and Network Visibility solutions.
• Performs in-depth and technical presentations for customers, partners, events.
• Prepare and deliver the business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentation, conducting Proof-of-Concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary.
• Provides mentorship/guidance on Technology and competitive trends to clients, partners, and employees.
• Analyzes customer requirements and recommends appropriate solution.
• Responsible for demos and for enhancing customers’ experience and satisfaction.
• Acts as the customer’s voice to influence future product design that meets customer needs.
• Communication driver between Field and Corporate on technical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical area (Computer Science, Computer Engineering); or equivalent work experience.
• Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
• At least 4 years of experience as solution Engineer role in networking and/or cyber security.
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, Network Applications, QOS, MPLS and Networking.
• Hands-on experience on a cloud platform such as Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure Private Stack, OpenStack, VMware NSX – advantage
• Understanding cyber security concepts and solutions such as FW, IPS, WAF, DDOS, SIEM, Forensics, etc.
• Must have the knowledge and a solid understanding of applications, including the OSI model as well as common protocols and applications used by the service provider and Enterprise organizations.
