Teva, the leading pharmaceutical company in Israel, is recruiting head of packaging area for a challenging and complex position, which includes:

• Managing the packaging area of the dry factory (OSD)
• Managing teams of more than 60 employees and managers
• Responsibility for employee safety
• Responsibility for executing section plans and meeting departmental goals
• Responsibility for the E2E packaging section, which includes a high level of quality, safety and work in accordance with the packaging methods & standards
• Ensuring the implementation of work procedures and work processes in accordance to regulatory requirements, GMP rules and compliance with regulatory audits
• Investigating unusual events in packaging and providing appropriate solutions while maintaining safety and quality rules
• Responsibility for the packaging outputs
• Development and training managers and employees
• Process management, monitoring and control
• Improvement and streamlining of production processes - leading operational excellence processes, standardization and improvement projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering - mandatory
• At least 5 years of managerial experience, including executive management
• At least two years of experience in operational positions
• Management experience in a production and packaging environment - mandatory
• Familiarity with operational excellence processes - a significant advantage
• English at a high level – mandatory
