Deep Learning Engineer

An Automotive startup company has developed a system for both internal and external scanning of vehicles utilizing technologies such as computer vision, optics, hardware, and software. This system can detect threats, changes, or hidden items, enabling the identification of even minor alterations in a vehicle even while it's in motion.

The company is experiencing growth while simultaneously maintaining the rapid-paced operational style characteristic of a startup at the forefront of technology.

The algorithms team is at the core of the company's operations, directly influencing the product and allowing ample room for initiative.

The company is situated in Tel Aviv within walking distance from a train station. Currently, it employs close to 100 individuals and incorporates remote work.

About the role-

• Joining a team of 10 algorithm engineers
• Allocating 20-30% of time to research and the rest to algorithm development and engineering tasks for Production Deployment
• Requiring expertise in deep learning, computer vision, data set issue identification, performance optimization, and improving model outcomes
• Handling tasks involving Camera Calibration, Motion, 3D/2D image registration, Image Retrieval, Pose Estimation, OCR, Anomaly Detection, Classification, Object Detection, Tracking, Segmentation, and MLOps
• Primarily coding in Python using PyTorch and TensorFlow

Requirements

● 5 years of experience with Computer Vision/Image Processing/Machine Learning algorithms and frameworks.

● Experience with leading a complex computer vision algorithm project.

● Relevant M.Sc degree from a known university. PhD -Advantage.

● Experience mentoring other algorithm engineers.

● Solid Python coding skills.

● C++ coding skills – Advantage.

● Experience with OpenCV– Advantage.

● Deep understanding of basic computer vision theory in 3 or more of the following fields along with hands on experience in at least one of them
