BIM Specialist

We are looking for someone to join our amazing adventure and take part in the development, production and delivery of a unique product that is truly making a change. 

We are creating the gold standard of underground non-intrusive discovery for industry and commercial use, by deploying proprietary, innovative AI and multi-sensor technology solutions to change the way you see the underground. 

Your main responsibility will be collecting and integrating subsurface utilities related information to our underground map. 

Key Stakeholders: 

• VP Product Operations 
• Head of Data Analysis and delivery  
• GIS team 
• Data Analysis team 
• Business and Marketing team 
• Project Managers & Field Operations teams 

Key responsibilities:   

• Utilize CAD software (Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Microstation) for creating, modifying, and analyzing complex engineering designs. 
• Employ GIS software (ArcGIS Pro and QGIS) for effective spatial data analysis and map creation. 
• Apply Python programming skills for automating tasks and managing datasets. 
• Conduct OSINT research to gather, analyze, and interpret data relevant to projects. 
• Demonstrate expertise in subsurface engineering concepts and practices. 
• Ensure compliance with US DoT standards and regulations. 
• Handle and interpret public records for utilities, construction project design drawings, and as-built drawings. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and solutions. 
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to utility data analysis. 
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in deliverables. 

We are looking for: 

• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley Microstation, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS. 
• Basic to intermediate Python programming skills. 
• Strong OSINT research skills. 
• In-depth knowledge of subsurface utilities engineering and US DoT Standards. 
• Proven ability to manage and interpret public records, including construction project design and as-built drawings. 
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field, with a demonstrated track record of success.
