Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing and Inventory Manager located in Mevaseret Zion. The Purchasing and Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing purchase orders, inventory control, contract negotiations, and inventory management. The Purchasing and Inventory Manager will also be responsible for analyzing inventory requirements, identifying trends, and creating forecasts to optimize inventory levels.

Responsibilities

· Procurement

· Regularly meet with stakeholders to understand company-wide procurement needs.

· Research and identify relevant suppliers for various components.

· Request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions when relevant while maintaining strong and close relationships.

· Issue purchase orders for all necessary materials and services.

· Forecast procurement needs and ensure timely supplies.

· Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement reports.

· Work closely with bookkeeping on payments.

Logistics

· Confirm shipments align with orders in both quantity and quality.

· Handle import and export shipment tasks, including customs clearance.

· Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items.

Inventory / Warehouse

· Manage inventory and warehouse by using the Priority system.

· Manage the physical aspects of warehouse operations.

· Collaborate with other departments for efficient inventory planning and management.

Willingness to own other Operations tasks.

Requirements

· At least 5 years of work experience as an Operations Manager in multidisciplinary HW companies.

· Proficiency in purchasing, inventory, and ERP systems, preferably Priority.

· Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.

· Experience with Electronics, manufacturing, and supply chain management

· Supervisory Skills, logistics, Operations Management, and Warehouse Management skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, start-up environment.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

· Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities at a time

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

· Fluent in Hebrew and English (Spoken and Written)

· A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field – preferred.
