Junior Full Stack Software Engineer

BriefCam is revolutionizing video as data - with an AI video analytics platform that enables people, companies, and communities to realize the value of their video through innovative solutions, powered by advanced technologies. At BriefCam, our mission is to improve everyday lives by transforming video data into valuable insights.

We are looking for a talented full-stack developer with at least 4 years of experience working on client-and backend development, on large scales. With experience with React and backend technologies, The candidate will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering all aspects of our products, developing new features, and launching new platforms.

A successful candidate must desire to work in a fast-paced and Agile software development environment.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience with client-side development – React.js
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• At least 2 years working on an object-oriented framework project.
• RDBMS principles, at least 1y experience with an SQL relational database
• Experience with C#, Asynchronous multi-threaded applications, Generics, and collections.
• Experience developing Micro-Services and scalable server infrastructures – a significant advantage!
• Experience with REST web API development.
• Experience with newer specifications of JavaScript languages (Typescript, ES6+)
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
• Experience working with Git and modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with writing tests using Jest, Cypress or Enzyme
• Experience with Material UI - An advantage
• Experience with HTML5 Video - An advantage
• Experience working with Storybook- An advantage
• Experience with Redis, MongoDB- An advantage
• Working experience within Scrum teams – An advantage
