Role Description

Assistance with the diverse tasks at the Spokesmanship Division and according to the guidelines of the Supervisor, within the following fields:

·      Spokesmanship and advocacy – assistance in refining media messages, accompanying interviews, tracking communication media and generating reports, assistance in formulating methods and tools intended for managing the spokesmanship work.

·      New media – assistance in writing professional materials as well as in editing videos and images.

·      Carrying out additional tasks according to the Supervisor’s guidance.

Role Requirements

A student pursuing a Degree at a Higher Education Institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education (CHE) of Israel or at an Institution for training practical engineers and technicians that is supervised by the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs, inclusive of a student pursing an additional Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree, or a student pursuing a PhD Degree that is recognized by the Council for Higher Education (CHE) of Israel.

A student studying in a Pre-Academic Preparatory Program.

A student studying in a Master’s Degree Completion Program or a student studying at a Higher Education Institution in an Accounting Certification Completion Program.

For your attention – in accordance with Directive 11.131 of the Civil Service Regulations: an up-to-date Higher Education Certificate supporting the threshold requirements should be appended to the candidacy application, as detailed above.

Additional desired skills and data:

·      A high level of Hebrew and English proficiency with the aim of ensuring written and oral expression, with an emphasis on high-level writing and wording capabilities.

·      Knowledge and work experience in social networks and in the fields of new media.

·      Knowledge and experience with graphic design software (graphic design, Caneva, Photoshop, video).

·      Activity, initiative and a desire for learning and developing.

·      Service awareness and teamwork capabilities.

Scope of role: up to 120 hours per month.

Remarks

·      The employment duration in a student position job is up to five years. This time period includes all the employment periods in a student position job in the civil service (inclusive of the employment periods in other Government Ministries).

·      The student’s maximal monthly employment period will be up to 120 hours per month, this according to the Ministry’s needs and its budget.
