Senior Java Software Engineer

About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our R&D team to design and develop our k8s microservices based fin-tech platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of our k8s microservices solution
• Produce highly scalable, high-quality software in a fast-paced environment
• Find innovative solutions to challenging problems
• Mentor less experienced developers
• Perform code reviews
• Promote AWS based solutions
• Make sure correct tools are used to solve problems
• Diagnose and debug issues in production
• Work closely with other dev teams, QA and product

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Experience working MySQL, MongoDB and Redis
• Experience with data structures, parallelism, scalability and high availability
• Experience with Microservices design patterns
• Experience with agile development life cycle
• Must have a passion for technology and quality
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Experience and deep understanding of web application development
• Proficiency with object-oriented concepts & design patterns

Advantages

• B.Sc. in computer sciences or a related discipline
• Experience in the fin-tech industry
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka / SQS / Rabbitmq
• Familiarity with Big Data
• Familiarity with security by design and OWASP
