Senior IT Buyer (Temp)

We are looking for a Senior IT Buyer to join the team, for a temporary position (maternity leave replacement).

What is the job:

• Taking an active part in the selection and management of vendors, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Establishing a stable and long-term partnership with a population of key vendors in compliance with company’s procurement strategy, aiming for service continuity and strong commercial results for a multiple organizational customer such as: IT, MIS, R&D, Technical Support, Production line, etc.
• Creating added value to all internal customers by providing timely support and optimizing spend to accommodate budget or below.
• Analyzing procurement demands vs. market trends, targeting procurement objectives, and enforcing cost control according to the company’s objectives.
• Actively manage sourcing activities by practicing the methodology of RFQ/RFP, key sourcing processes, quotation analysis and commercial negotiations.
• Generate benchmarks, sustaining strong awareness of potential new vendors, brands and markets, assessing vendors' capabilities.
• Providing excellent service to internal customers, while meeting or exceeding Purchasing commercial goals.
  
  

What you need:

• Relevant solid experience of at least 4 years in IT infrastructure-related purchasing: Hardware devices, Software licenses, Tailor-made solutions, Labor outsourcing, SaaS – an advantage
• Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Proven experience in contract evaluation and management
• Excellent oral and written communication in English – mandatory
• High multitasking and prioritizing skills
• Degree educated – mandatory
