Digital Technical Writing Department Manager

Role Description

Manage the P&L unit of the digital writing department in Israel and global projects (especially in the United States).

Define the business strategy, conduct market analysis, and stay updated on relevant technological trends.

Drive business development and sales, analyze new verticals, and expand existing ones.

Oversee client management, project control, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Encourage ongoing product development and assess pertinent partnership prospects.

Provide ongoing management and support to project managers and team leaders.

Implement effective project management methodologies and create an annual work plan for the department.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing a P&L unit in the field of knowledge management or technical writing.
• Strong managerial skills, including experience in managing other managers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Proactive approach to establishing and developing activities within the department.
• Experience in project management, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
• Familiarity with global operations and ability to navigate diverse business environments.
• Fluent English language skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Exceptional multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
