Quality Assurance Manager

QA manager position 

Job Overview: Sensorz is seeking a seasoned and versatile QA Manager, ideally with experience in cloud based IoT testing environment, including expertise in RF/wireless technologies. The role calls for a hands-on leader capable of contributing directly to testing activities while strategically building and guiding a QA team. Preference will be given to candidates who have thrived in startup environments, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in high-stress, fast-paced settings. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies that encompass all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. 
• Actively engage in hands-on testing and troubleshooting, demonstrating expertise in both software and hardware domains. 
• Work in close collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality assurance practices throughout the product lifecycle. 
• Design detailed test plans and cases, specifically addressing the challenges and nuances of RF technology. 
• Oversee the adoption of new technologies and tools for improving QA processes, such as automation frameworks.  
• Provide leadership and technical direction, promoting a continuous learning and improvement mindset within the team. 

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in QA management, particularly in a hybrid environment. 
• Proven hands-on experience in testing, ideally including direct experience with RF technology. 
• Background in a start-up environment, with demonstrated ability to manage stress and rapid change. 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, and familiarity with automated testing tools. 
• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills, with a talent for building and mentoring teams. 
• Fluent in English. 

Preferred Skills: 

• In-depth experience in the telecommunications or wireless network sector. 
• Experience working with IoT products  
• Understanding of network security, data protection, and RF technologies. 
• Familiarity with wireless infrastructure and network architecture. 
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization
