Senior Economist

Responsibilities:

• Spearheading budget planning, monitoring business area performance indicators, and preparing comprehensive management reports.

• Taking charge of planning and forecasting, which involves data collection for budget planning, consolidation, and delivering data to the management, along with report preparation.

• Overseeing management reporting, encompassing standard reporting, key indicators, and proficiency in internal tools.

• Contributing to the enhancement of the reporting and controlling system, identifying problematic areas, and devising effective measures for their resolution.

• Ensuring the meticulous preparation of data for audits to maintain compliance and transparency.

• Vigilantly monitoring and managing the closure of reporting periods, including months, quarters, and financial years.

• Exercising control over direct costs, as well as indirect and general administrative costs (SG&A).

• Participating in the inventory of receivables, payables, work-in-progress, inventory, fixed assets, and open orders.

• Conducting operational control and in-depth financial analysis of the business area's economic activities, with a strong focus on profitability and balance sheet position monitoring.

• Offering valuable consulting support to sales and service departments, aligning financial expertise with their specific needs.

Requirements:

• BA in Economics - MUST, MBA – Advantage
• 6-7 years of experience in a similar position – MUST
• SAP - MUST
• Excel - Professional level
• Proven experience in international companies (a significant advantage)
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting on a global scale
• Strong global business understanding
• Ability to manage complex organizational interfaces worldwide
• Thrives under pressure and highly responsible and diligent
