What will you be doing:

Strategic procurement for the company of optical, mechanical, and electronic components. Negotiating with global suppliers, signing long-term framework contracts for dozens of items that constitute the main product costs, aiming for a substantial cost reduction and risk mitigation. Full-time position based in Jerusalem.

Key responsibilities:

• Full responsibility in maintaining relationships with strategic vendors. Negotiating for cost reduction and signing long-term contracts.
• Building and expanding the supplier base to provide commercial response in cost, quality, and ongoing supplies. Dual Sourcing and risk reduction.
• Working with manufacturing engineering in transition stages from product development to production.
• Managing cost reductions and outsourcing processes.

Role requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of prior experience in a global company.
• Relevant bachelor's degree, master's degree -an advantage.
• Experience in a global company, experience in signing long-term contracts of at least $20 million.
• Deep familiarity with the optical, electronic/mechanical component market - manufacturers and technologies.
• Experience in ongoing work and secondary contractor management – TURNKEY, OUTSOURCING.
• Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
• Procurement management skills, autonomy, excellent interpersonal skills, team collaboration ability, and high-level service orientation.
• Exceptional proficiency in English - reading, writing, and speaking.
