We are in search of a skilled AI Team Leader to oversee our artificial intelligence division:

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and outlining research challenges in collaboration with the scientific and business development teams.
• Taking full ownership of the research process, including defining the anticipated outcomes, mapping out necessary knowledge domains, orchestrating data gathering, and detailing experimental procedures.
• Actively engaging in broader scientific research activities, encompassing experimental design, method validation, calibration, and strategizing data collection.
• Engaging in discussions and making substantial contributions to various projects.
• Critically evaluating, challenging, and debating assumptions and established paradigms.

Requirements:

• A Ph.D. or MSc in Computer Science, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Neuroscience, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an AI-focused team.
• Over 5 years of research experience, with a particular interest in sensory perception research highly regarded.
• A demonstrated track record of conducting thorough, high-quality research, preferably within a professional environment. This includes a history of innovative contributions, comprehensive documentation, and effective communication, particularly in the realms of algorithm development and sensory data analysis.
• Familiarity with various types of sensory data (such as visual, auditory, olfactory, taste, tactile, thermal, and environmental) is considered beneficial.
• Strong foundational programming skills are required, including a robust understanding of data structures, and algorithms, and proficiency in at least one primary programming language used in algorithm development, like Python.
• Experience in weak supervision learning and metric learning is highly desirable.
• Additional experience in Computer Vision or Natural Language Processing is a plus.
