Job Overview

We are looking for a QA Lead (the sole QA function in the company) who will plan and execute QA efforts in the company. The function will work closely with engineering, product, data science, and CX to ensure customer satisfaction through high quality of the product.

Note: This is not a managerial position (you won't lead a team), but you will be responsible for all QA aspects of the company.The QA process is 90% manual at the moment, and we are open to candidates with automation experience, that like to do manual testing while improving the automation infrastructure along the way, or candidates that would like to grow into automation testing.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a QA engineer or similar role, preferably in a software development or SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies (experience in test planning, test design, and test execution)
• Startup experience
• Experience with API tools (postman, swagger) and browser testing
• Team player as well as being able to take full ownership and work independently
• Strong attention to details
• User Experience oriented and a true passion for quality
• Strong interpersonal skills and fluent English
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advantage: Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python, JavaScript).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of Loris software.
• Collaborate with product managers and software developers to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure product stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and reproduce reported issues, and track them to resolution.
• Support and triage bugs reported by clients
