NPI Electronic Components Engineer (Electrical Practical Engineer)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site NPI Electronic Components Engineer role located at STXI Motion in Petah Tikva. The NPI Electronic Components Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the product lifecycle management process of electronic components and working collaboratively with electrical and mechanical engineering teams, as well as with external subcontractors and manufacturers, to ensure successful new product introductions. This role is a unique opportunity to take an active part in a next-generation product configuration control, making sure quality standards and accurate configurations are maintained.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing all manufacturer notifications received as PCNs
• Working with manufacturers and suppliers of electronic components in Israel and globally
• Managing the entire life cycle of the component: Active, Not to be used, EOL, Obsolete
• Approve PCBA design and components
• Create and maintain items, BOMs in the ERP system
• Maintain engineering changes (ECO/MCO) and configuration control
• Create engineering documents incl. assembly instructions and test instructions
• Serve as the professional point of contact in the company for electronic components
• Work closely with R&D, Operations and Product/Project managers as well as external manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Electrical Practical Engineer certificate
• 2-5 years of experience in NPI configuration management, engineering change process control and documentation
• Proficiency in reading and understand electrical drawings and specifications
• Knowhow and experience with PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes
• Ability to define and write assembly instructions, test procedures and reports in English
• Ability to lead, manage and prioritize multiple tasks in parallel to meet deadlines
• High proficiency and professional level of communication in English – both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with electronic components in the field of industrial automation is an advantage
