Maintenance Specialist

Chunk Foods is a leading food-tech start-up developing a novel technology that combines plant-based ingredients and fermentation to create realistic whole muscle cut meat alternatives at scale.

As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be supporting the production and R&D teams while developing and maintaining existing machines and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of existing machines and infrastructure.
• Spare parts warehouse and orders.
• Regular checks, calibration & treatment of machines.
• Regular checks, calibration & treatment of Infrastructure (steam, CAS, water filtration etc.)
• Support chunk’s production lines and factory needs.
• Installation and assembly of new parts and commissioning of machines.
• Support production efforts and experiments
• Communication and orders with relevant external suppliers
• Designing and drawing simple mechanical production parts (Autocad and Fusion experience is required)
• Technical procurement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in similar maintenance positions.
• Strong technical skills and desire to work in production environment.
• Hands-on experience with workshop machinery
• Problem-solving, DIY and get-things-done approach.
• Proven ability to draw, design and outsource for manufacturing simple mechanical parts.
• Good written and verbal communication in Hebrew and English.
• Licensed Master Electrician license

The Perfect Candidate Also Has

• Experience in the food industry
• Proven experience in design software such as Autocad or Fusion.
