The Jerusalem Post, Israel's oldest and largest English daily newspaper, is hiring for the role of Copyeditor.

Copyeditors are those who ensure the content shared in The Jerusalem Post and on JPost.com meets our grammatical and editorial standards.

The position is available for full-time employment (4-5 work days/week).

Requirements:

- Can regularly commute to Jerusalem for an initial training period

- Fluent in English - a must

- Hebrew at a professional level at least - a must

- Familiar with Israeli news and affairs

- Advanced knowledge and use of English-language grammar and spelling

- Previous experience in copyediting or working in a newsroom environment - a plus
