Software Validation Team Leader

Leading SW validation team, you will be in charge of managing 5-7 engineers that verify the SW and motion control parts across different products.

The team has direct and essential impact on the product line success to ship out bug free products and gain new business.

This position involves managerial responsibilities, such as managing the execution of the team’s tasks with the highest quality, develop the team personal and create a high performance team, focused on results and drive for execution.

The job also requires knowledge of building and maintaining automatic testing system using Microsoft Azure environment.

Responsibilities

• Defining and implementing an effective test strategy, QA process, and procedures for the company’s products.
• Recruiting, mentoring and managing the day-to-day activities of QA team members.
• Analyze requirement specifications, define tests accordingly, supervise, and conduct test execution.
• Lead the process of defining, designing, and maintaining of Automation framework and tests.
• Analyze, document, and track issues and defects as part of the QA life cycle.
• Participate in the technical design, development, and testing of new features and products.
• Reflect product maturity status to management based on well-defined KPI’s
• Coordinate with other departments in the company for best practices of testing implementations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA & automation management experience
• Strong background with automation testing methodology and tools (DevOps)- an advantage
• Experience in multidisciplinary systems (HW & SW)- an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines & prioritize projects
• Excellent organizational skills of tasks and people; Self driven; Attention to details
• Understanding and experience in agile Methodology- an advantage
• background or experience in servo systems/robotics - an advantage
• English Proficient in oral and writing
