Software Technical Lead

A successful startup in the subsurface infrastructure mapping market has developed disruptive technology, often likened to the 'Google Earth' for subsurface infrastructure. They've engineered a sophisticated system leveraging Big Data, algorithms, and AI for mapping underground infrastructure.

Utilizing NLP for scanning various data sources like satellite imagery, Signal Processing, Computer Vision, these capabilities create a clear picture for navigation, indicating specific locations and details about waterlines, electricity, oil, gas, potentially saving construction companies billions of dollars annually.

With approximately 100 employees, the company is situated near Tel Aviv's train line and follows a hybrid work model (2 days remote)

Tech Stack: React, Node.js, AWS, CI/CD, microservices, NoSQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor a cross-functional team of developers, setting and upholding high standards for frontend and backend development.

•Define and implement coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns within React and Next.js to ensure a clean and scalable codebase

• Lead scalable microservices on cloud platforms with a focus on resilience. Apply backend expertise, architectural design, and CI/CD tools for efficient, scalable solutions.

• Collaborate with the team to design and develop new application features, maintaining the integrity of existing code and minimizing adverse impacts on other areas.

• Assume ownership of the application's codebase, continuously optimizing it for readability, maintainability, and ease of future enhancements.

• Ensure the application's infrastructure and code are aligned with industry standards, making it robust, scalable, and easy to maintain.

Requirements-

• 7 years of building large-scale applications across diverse technologies and platforms.

• 5+ years specializing in React for front-end development.

• Proven proficiency in backend development architecture, and adept use of CI/CD tools for crafting efficient, scalable solutions.

• Extensive experience designing scalable microservices architectures on cloud platforms.

• Exceptional product sense and a passion for creating software that delivers outstanding user experiences, with demonstrated expertise in data visualization.
