Lead Quality Assurance Engineer (Work From Home, Independent Contractor)

As our Lead QA Engineer, you’ll be both a leader and a doer, working hands-on to ensure the quality and reliability of our groundbreaking software solutions while directly contributing to testing efforts alongside a small, talented team of 2-3 QA professionals. Your leadership and technical expertise will drive excellence across our development processes, empowering healthcare professionals and facilities with confidence. *You will:*
* Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices, system test plans, system test scenarios, regression test plans and test scripts (both manual and automated) based on software requirements and technical specifications.
* Define and document scalable QA processes to support the team’s growth.
* Collaborate with developers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve product quality.
* Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/issues, with ability to lead small groups of IT and business staff for troubleshooting, problem resolution and brainstorming for available solutions
* Evaluate, implement, and optimize testing tools and frameworks to ensure team efficiency and quality.
* Ensure cross-platform and cross-operating system compatibility testing.

*You Have:*
* 5+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
* Strong knowledge of SDLC, quality assurance best practices, and testing methodologies (e.g., TDD).
* Proven experience balancing manual and automated testing, with the ability to shift between both approaches based on project needs.
* Hands-on experience in test automation design and development
* Proficiency in test management tools and ticketing systems such as XRay, JIRA, or equivalent.
* Deep understanding of one or more test frameworks, such as Selenium
* Experience testing applications across multiple platforms and operating systems.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate (in English) with all levels of the organization from junior team members to senior leadership
* Strong leadership and team management abilities in a small-team setting.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
* Willingness to work in a cross-time zone team environment.

*Bonus Points:*
* Experience working in a startup or small-team environment.
* Certifications in software testing.

Pay: 10,000.00₪ - 14,500.00₪ per month
