We are looking for a VP R&D who will lead and grow our engineering department, provide technical leadership and guidance, oversee the development of new products, and establish and implement long-term technology strategies while collaborating with other senior leaders in the organization.

In this role you will:

• Manage several teams of engineers through the development life cycle, assuring successful project execution.
• Develop and execute the overall R&D strategy, aligning it with the company's mission and business goals. Lead and inspire a team of developers and engineers
• Provide ongoing leadership and mentorship, assuring high motivation and engagement
• Track the development process and assume full ownership and accountability over product delivery, quality, production monitoring and timeline
• Work closely with the Chief Architect, CTO, Product, and other stakeholders to drive Rivery’s technological roadmap.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience as VP/Director/Platform Group Lead of R&D in a growing startup company
• 4+ years of experience leading, managing, and scaling R&D teams, in a startup environment, with significant prior experience as a developer.
• Past successes in leading R&D org of 20+ people, managing tech managers, ideally within a startup context.
• Strong background in DWH, and Big Data.
• Experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on Clouds platforms
• Team player, ‘can-do’ attitude, strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated team-building and leadership skills
