Bookkeeper and payroll accountant

Body Vision Medical is on the mission to save lives through the democratization of innovative medical technology. The LungVision system is a novel AI driven intraoperative imaging and guidance system used to help diagnose lung cancer at an earlier stage.

We are looking for a highly motivated Bookkeeper and Payroll Accountant to contribute to our Finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. In this role, you will be a sole bookkeeper and payroll accountant of our fast-growing startup. An amazing opportunity to be responsible for all financial aspects from A to Z, be independent and proactive, and work closely with management, employees, and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing all bookkeeping aspects of the company (Israel & US)

Perform all activities related to accounts payable and accounts receivables, including reviewing and processing payments to suppliers and credit card reconciliation.

Responsible for several bank accounts including reconciliation and controls

Record daily financial transactions including closing entries

Conduct monthly account reconciliation as well as intercompany transactions

Review and control reimbursement of employees' expenses

Responsible for TAX and Authorities reports

End-to-end ownership over the monthly payroll process, including ongoing maintenance, processing, and regulatory filing

Manage employees’ travel reports on a monthly basis

Apply cash receipts and investigate unidentified payments and balances

Prepare forecast cash-flow

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 8 years of experience in bookkeeping

Experience in hi-tech companies – an advantage

Certified bookkeeper (Level 3) – a must

Certified payroll accountant – a must

Excellent communication skills and analytical capabilities

Experience working with Priority – a must

Excellent excel skills – an advantage

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team and across functions in a fast-paced environment

Fluency in both written and reading English
