Software Team Lead

A leading AI-focused company in the automotive sector, specializing in automotive technology over the years. Presently, the company operates within two main domains: ADAS and Autonomous Vehicles (AVs), developing algorithms and programming for lightweight detection and perception. This implementation occurs on accessible hardware without the need for heavy, specialized hardware.

About the role - Managing a team of 5-6 employees, this role requires attention to detail and integrating around 50% of the time in Head Office development, reporting to the VP Engineering. Responsibilities include backend infrastructure development in Python for the company's AI solutions, necessitating skill in selecting appropriate technologies and managing the data infrastructure.

The company, located in Tel Aviv near a train station, employs a hybrid work model.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a software developer with expertise in backend development.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.

• Experience in the development of SaaS/cloud services

• Experience with database management and API development. Specifically, Select, utilize, and manage Databases and develop services to manage and provide access to a rapidly growing collection of visual data and its metadata.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
