Associate Researcher

Position Overview:

We seek a skilled and motivated research associate to join our research team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in flow cytometry (FACS), cell culture techniques (in vitro), molecular biology, and experience working with mice. As a critical member of our research group, you will play a key role in conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and contributing to advancing our scientific objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with researchers and scientists to implement laboratory protocols, adapt methodologies, and contribute to developing innovative techniques.
• Following established guidelines, keep meticulous records of experimental procedures, protocols, results, and observations.
• Perform flow cytometry (FACS) experiments to investigate cellular properties and biomarkers, including sample preparation, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Administer experimental treatments and interventions to mice, monitor their health and behavior, and collect relevant samples for analysis.
• Cultivate and maintain various cell lines and primary cells in controlled in vitro environments, ensuring optimal growth conditions and experimental reproducibility.
• Operated and maintained laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring functionality and coordinating with the appropriate maintenance personnel.
• Participate in team discussions, share findings, and contribute to interpreting results during meetings.

Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Immunology) is required.
• Proven experience with flow cytometry (FACS), including sample preparation, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Proficiency in cell culture techniques (in vitro), with a strong understanding of cell biology and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience working with mice, including handling, treatment administration, and sample collection.
• Solid understanding of experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to document procedures and results accurately.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented research environment.
