Data Scientist

A Health Fintech company has developed a product targeting the American healthcare market, where about 60% of Americans receive their health insurance and services through their workplace. Managing health insurance systems and medical benefits (health tracking, online doctor consultations, etc.) creates a lot of bureaucracy and logistical challenges for employers. Their solution provides a hassle-free answer by utilizing an advanced algorithm that centralizes all employee benefits in one place.

The role involves working as a singular function in the company's data department, reporting to the VP.

Responsibilities include development, model training, and transitioning to production in the field of ML and recommendation systems. The algorithm learns user behavior, enabling personalized choices and suggestions. They work with tabular data and NLP, involving engineering work, Python development, and also collaborate with OpenAI, LLM, fine-tuning, generative pipelines, and Lang chain.

Based in Tel Aviv, near a train station, they adopt a hybrid work model with 2-3 days working remotely, comprising approximately 18 employees.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience with data science projects from conception to production.

• Experience with building recommendation systems

• Broad knowledge of multidisciplinary data science modeling techniques and their use within the industry.

• Fluency in Python and hands-on experience with relevant packages
