Java Backend Engineer

As part of this mission, we are seeking a Java Backend Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that power our cutting-edge applications and services that help our customers to manage their hugh increasing amount of their security data.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable backend services within a microservices architecture using Java /Spring Boot and Python
• Participate in design from scratch to production
• Deliver high quality features for our high-scale web environment
• Monitor the performance and cost of the services in production
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our technology stack and development processes
• Integrate with other team members (backend/frontend/product/UX)
• Mentor junior engineers and share your expertise with the team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven backend development experience using Java/Spring Boot
• Experience working in a microservices environment, including AWS, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, SQS, and Tilt
• Proficiency in various data stores such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redshift, Snowflake, and Elastic
• An enthusiastic self-learner who can confidently embrace new technologies, conduct research to find innovative solutions, and successfully deliver them
• Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in rapidly changing contexts
