ActiveFence is seeking to hire an Intelligence Operations Expert for a full time position. The role includes research, project management, and deep investigation of different Web environments which include risk assessment, identifying vulnerabilities, while red teaming platforms and offering mitigation planning to ActiveFence clientele.
The position involves creative project and processes management alongside end to end delivery to the different teams within and outside the organization. You will be responsible for the generation of insights, means, and methods provided from diverse intelligence streams enabling the organization’s teams and clients to make the internet a safer place.
Responsibilities:
- Research and delivery of high quality insights on threat actors ecosystems and environments.
- Identify online trends of threat actors abuse techniques and methodologies.
- Monitoring Web and Mobile environments across social media platforms, mobile applications and darknet to uncover malicious activity.
- Provide insights on intricate means and methods being used by threat actors to abuse the tech world’s most popular platforms while putting users at risk.
- Identify and address opportunities alongside potential problems in operational processes across environments of research.
- Research, development and strategizing of new operational methods and logics.
- Red team, project test designs, and risk assessment to identify platform vulnerabilities alongside mitigation planning.
We are looking for an expert with a ‘Can Do!’ approach with the following desirable skills, qualities and experience:
- Background from intelligence units or equivalent
- Experience in operational processes and/or investigations within the different realms of the cyber sphere (mobile environments and web).
- Knowledge of OSINT investigation techniques.
- Online security orientation
- Proven ability to identify trends and methodologies
- Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
- Curiosity and out-of-the box thinking
- A proactive and independent learner of new practice areas and technological tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
