Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer skilled in asynchronous programming, test-driven development, and data engineering. The role involves developing Python applications using asyncio, designing testing strategies with pytest, managing data streams with Kafka, and employing advanced Python tools for code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python applications with a focus on asynchronous programming using asyncio.
• Design and implement robust testing strategies using pytest and mocks.
• Integrate and manage data streams using Kafka (pykafka or aiokafka).
• Employ advanced Python tools such as Black, Pydantic, and Poetry for code quality and dependency management.
• Work with AWS cloud services for scalable and efficient application deployment.
• USe data science or machine learning libraries, such as pandas and scikit-learn, and tools like Weights & Biases for model training and deployment.
• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt enginering, and use of tools such as Langchain.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years n Python programming with a strong understanding of OOP and asynchronous programming.
• Proven experience in writing tests with pytest and utilizing mocks.
• Experience with Kafka, specifically pykafka or aiokafka.
• Familiarity with advanced Python tools (Black, Pydantic, Poetry).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Git/GitHub skills.
• Proficiency in Business English; Hebrew preferred.
• Strong in teamwork, self-management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience in data science or machine learning engineering, including the use of pandas, scikit-learn, and model deployment.
• Experience working with LLMs, such as Langchain, and an understanding of prompt engineering and token counting.
