IT Buyer Specialist

Description:

OEM / IT buyer specialist is responsible for sourcing, performing commercial and contract negotiation, issuing purchase orders and frame agreements, tracking delivery schedule, managing long term relationship with local and global suppliers, and performing QBRs.

The OEM / IT buyer specialist is expected to have strong technical understanding of Infinidat’s solution and technology and take part in product and Hardware discussions with internal stakeholders such as R&D, HW team, Engineering, etc…

Responsibilities:

• Managing OEM / IT procurement cycle including sourcing, supplier’s selection process, complex contract, and price negotiations, executing purchase orders from issue to delivery and following on agreement’s terms.
• Managing RFPs ,vendor selecting process and tracking framework agreements.
• Supplier’s performance management – leading cross department KBRs with suppliers and follow up on corrective actions.
• Planning annual COGS and budget, tracking plan vs actual spending and leading cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives.
• Staying updated on current economic, industrial and other trends that may affect prices, quality and availability.
• Lead HW qualification process

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management or related field
• 3 years’ experience as OEM / IT procurement – a must.
• Strong technical knowledge
• Experience in long term suppliers’ management – a must.
• Strong sourcing and market research capabilities
• Proven track in executing complex legal agreement, striving to minimize contractual risks
• Experience in managing budget, cost reduction and cost avoidance activities
• Excellent negotiation, communication skills ,presentation, both written and spoken English and Hebrew.
• Self-driven with ability be agile and respond quickly to changes.
• Autodidact, ability to deep dive into technology processes
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team player.
• Solid skills in Microsoft office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, BI tools), ERP – NetSuite – advantage
