Our Robotics Team is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for an advanced, fascinating, and meaningful position.

Responsibilities

· Leading the mechanical development of subsystems from requirements to an entire production file – the desired candidate would be able to lead, design, troubleshoot and deliver the entire mechanical development process.

· Perform tests and experiments.

· Trouble shoot and investigate ongoing product issues.

· Leading subcontractors in design and manufacturing

· Hands-on position – requiring assembly of first prototypes, and on field investigations.

Job Requirements

· At least 3 years of experience in R&D mechanical design of multi-disciplinary projects – Must.

· Experience with CAD Software – Must (Solid-works – Advantage)

· Proven experience in designing accurate motion systems and accurate mechanisms in robots or accurate motion systems – Must.

· Experience with mechanical design in harsh environments such as Agriculture, Marine, Military, and heavy industry – Advantage.

· Experience with analytical and numerical analysis of systems- Advantage Experience in finite element analysis – Advantage (SolidWorks simulation).

· Experience in writing requirements and test documents – Advantage.

· Experience with working in a PDM environment – Advantage

· Familiar with manufacturing technologies – Accurate milling, metal casting – Advantage

· Experience in design and transfer to production – Advantage

· Experience in designing parts for injection plastic molds – Advantage.

· Experience in plastic packaging of hardware products for the wet environment - Advantage

· Fluent in Hebrew and English

Education

· BS.C Mechanical Engineering form a leading university or college – Must

· Able to deliver presentations to an audience in Hebrew and English
