We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our corporate finance team at a publicly traded company. 

As an assistant controller, you will play a critical role in preparing our financial statements and filings, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You’ll oversee a wide range of financial reportings and various accounting and analysis tasks. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the consolidation and preparation of group financial statements of a publicly traded company based on IFRS.
• Preparation of quarterly financial statements, press releases and various presentations to investors, management and more.
• Prepare working papers on various accounting issues and work with the group auditor.
• Work in a global accounting organization and review the financial results of subsidiaries around the world.
• In charge of SOX maintenance and reporting within the group.
• Transfer pricing and taxes.
• Accounting analysis and bookkeeping as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, with a CPA license.
• Graduated from one of the Big-4 accounting firms.
• 3-4 years of experience in an accounting firm and/or in a tech company.
• Tech savvy with ability to adapt to a tech-based environment
• Attention to detail with high standards for maintaining financial accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English including writing, reading and speaking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the financial reporting and accounting of a company publicly traded in the US, and with reporting and filing to the SEC.
• Experience working with Netsuite or other ERP applications.
• Experience with SOX audits or the preparation of SOX documentation for a public company.
• Experience working in a global team.
