Assistant Controller - Temporary Maternity Leave Cover (6 - 9 months) (80% - 100% role)

We are recruiting an Assistant Controller for our Ra’anana office to cover a 6 month maternity leave period. This position manages a team of internal and external bookkeepers/payroll preparers and reports to the Director of Finance. This role can be 80% to 100% full time.

We are looking for a hands-on, smart, commercially savvy individual with the experience, wisdom and passion to power ahead an established global SaaS organization.

You will be responsible for:

1. Management of the preparation and posting of journal entries, monthly accruals, global bank and credit card reconciliations, payment processing and tracking;
2. The work of the internal and external bookkeepers/payroll preparers;
3. Periodical payroll compliance and managing external providers including periodical retirement fund reporting;
4. Support monthly government agency reporting (Payroll Taxes, National Insurance, VAT).
5. Other related tasks as and when required.

We would love to hear from candidates who:

• Are qualified CPAs, with 2-4 years experience in-role in a technology company (experience at a big-4 firm is an advantage);
• Are experienced with global companies with operations in the US, UK and Israel (with payroll experience as an advantage);
• Hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree;
• Pride themselves on being intelligent and motivated yet are curious and willing to learn;
• Possess strong numeracy and people skills, best-in-class knowledge of information systems and their implementation, as well as superior project management and analytical capabilities;
• Articulate using strong English. Local experience is an advantage.
