Lead System Engineer

UVeye is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lead System Engineer to join our R&D team.

As our system engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our multidisciplinary system, ensuring its high performance across various applications.

We are looking for a strong background in systems engineering, particularly in optical sensors and visible light cameras.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Be the lead system engineer for UVeye products.
• Define system architecture and design for new features and products.
• Collaborate with optics, mechanics, electronics, software, and algorithm teams to develop world-class solutions.
• Support existing products including root cause analysis and solutions to customer issues.

What we're looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Physics/Electronics Engineering - Must.
• 5+ years of experience as a system engineer in a multidisciplinary company.
• Experience with imaging systems - Must
• Experience working with visible light cameras - Advantage
• Proficient with Python or Matlab for data analysis, experiments, and calibrations.
• Highly motivated, determined, and with a strong sense of ownership.
• Innovative, analytic, and methodical.
• Readiness to work in a challenging startup environment.
