Comax Smart E.R.P is based in Bnei Brak, Israel with a global activity mainly in Europe, and has a clientele base including Rami Levy, Carrefour, Carolina Lemka, Yohannoff, Hudis, Merkaz Hamazon, and others. The system covers all functions in the organization, including procurement, finance, sales, inventory, employees, agents, and services.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Tel Aviv-Yafo for a Chief Information Officer (CIO). The CIO will be responsible for ensuring the alignment between the company's technology strategy and business objectives, managing IT operations and IT risk, and overseeing the development and implementation of various information systems. The CIO will also act as a liaison between the company's management and the IT department, and will report to the CTO of the company.

Qualifications

1. Information Technology (IT) management and strategy experience and knowledge
2. Broad understanding of business processes and how they are supported by technology
3. Proven record of successful IT project management and execution
4. Experience and knowledge of IT operations and IT risk management
5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
6. Excellent leadership and communication skills
7. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred
8. Professional certifications such as CIO, CTO or ITIL are recommended
9. 10+ years of experience in management of IT systems and projects, preferably in a retail/technology-focused
