DevOps Engineer

An international tech company specializing in security focuses primarily on a Web Application Firewall. Their product essentially provides protection for web-based sites, catering to small businesses and site owners who cannot afford high hardware costs or licensing fees for existing solutions. In many cases, they may not even know how to operate such solutions.

Role essence: This is a pivotal role within the department, having significant influence over the Machine Learning flow, reporting directly to a Senior Manager. The work involves Linux environments, Cloud, Kubernetes, and Python.

Located near a train station in Tel Aviv, the company follows a hybrid model allowing three days of remote work.

This position marks the company's first hire in this department, granting considerable influence over the direction of Machine Learning flow.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Math

• 4 years of hands-on experience as an MLOps or DevOps engineer

• Proven track record in building and managing ML pipelines

• Understanding of Machine Learning workflows and common Machine Learning or Data Orchestration frameworks such as AirFlow, MLFlow, Kubeflow, and SageMaker

• Familiarity with container orchestration tools, including Kubernetes

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or AZURE

• Solid Python programming skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both collaboratively with a team and independently

• Knowledge of Machine Learning: understanding basic concepts and how models are trained and tested
