We are looking for an experienced, creative Director of Engineering to join our team and help develop the platform that drives our business - the Anzu SDK core and its supporting technologies. You will have the opportunity to directly steer the development process of an industry leading technology, and work with some of the leading developers in the gaming ecosystem.

• Team Leadership:
• Provide visionary leadership to the software engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Mentor and develop team members, ensuring a high level of technical proficiency and career growth
• Implement best practices for software development, code reviews, and quality assurance
• Technical Strategy:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the technical roadmap and long-term vision for software development
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, advising on their potential impact and integration into our software solutions
  

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a software engineering team
• Experience in designing and developing complex systems from the ground up
• At least 10 years experience, with a deep understanding of C/C++ with at least three years from the following platforms: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux
• Experience with additional programing languages used by the team: Java, ObjectiveC, JavaScript, Python, C#
• Experience with 2D/3D computer graphics programming and working with popular rendering engines such as DirectX, OpenGL, OpenGLES, and Metal
• Good grasp of 3D graphics-related math: vectors, matrices, view projections, geometry, and linear algebra in general
• Familiarity with modern GPU architectures, and recent computer graphics development techniques and optimizations
• Experience working with decoding image/video
• Knowledge in building/optimizing games using Unity/Unreal - an advantage
• Experience in java NDK - an advantage
• Experience in XbUnrealox/Playstation development - an advantage
• Experience in C/C++ computer vision programming - an advantage
• High level of English with excellent communication skills
