Director of Quality & Reliability

As the Director of Quality and Reliability, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality and reliability of our HW products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, and drive a culture of excellence throughout the organization. Your mission will be to enhance product quality, optimize reliability, and deliver solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations while adhering to industry best practices and standards.

Your day to day will include:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance and reliability strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall goals and objectives
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics and reliability KPIs to track and improve the performance of our products from production to field operations
• Focal point for RMAs, oversee failure analysis, root cause investigation and provide the whole company visibility on trending/repeating failures
• Conduct thorough reviews of product requirements, specifications, and test plans, ensuring that they meet the highest quality and reliability standards
• Implement and maintain a robust testing and validation process to identify defects and areas for improvement in products and systems
• Define and oversee implementation of long term product reliability testing

You will be working closely with:

• R&D and product management – to ensure that quality and reliability considerations are embedded throughout the product development lifecycle
• Supply Chain QA team – to ensure that quality considerations are embedded through the production lifecycle
• Operations team – to address quality and reliability issues in a timely and customer-focused manner
• Management team – to provide visibility into the quality and reliability of the company’s products and facilitate risk management

You’d be a good fit if you have:

• Proven experience of at least 7 years in quality assurance, reliability engineering of HW devices
• Experience working with industrial, automotive or other industries where products lifespan is more than 5 years in outdoor environment
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools
• Demonstrated experience in driving quality and reliability initiatives within a technology-based organization
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving
• Familiarity with traffic management systems, transportation technologies, or related industries is a plus
