Financial Controller- Temporary position

Your Mission

We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Finance.

***The position is temporary for 1 year***

As our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financials of our Israeli-based subsidiary and play an important role within the global corporate finance team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Produce monthly analytical reports
• Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting
• Produce financial statements as requested
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and adhere to policies and procedures
• Management of bookkeeping staff including suppliers' payments and salaries

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar role preferably in a technology company of 100+ staff
• 5 years of combined experience in accounting and finance
• CPA
• Practice in one of the big 4 - a must
• Outstanding knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledgers
• Good understanding of accounting software
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
• Problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
